  1. Your channel is so refreshing! You keep it real, down to earth and everyday. Your house is not a perfect picture masterpiece but is useful and what most homes look like. I love it! First time watching, new subscriber. Thank you!

  2. I’m a pretty good re-user, but you’ve blown me away with some of these fresh ideas— even 2 years later. Guess I’m going to have to subscribe!

  3. First time viewer, and wow! This was very impressive!!! 😁 👏 You are so talented and creative! Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to watch more & try lots of your ideas! Thanks again!😊

  4. I started years ago with the idea that everything that enters my home must serve at least two purposes before it goes to landill. I thought I’d gotten creative but I lift my hat to you. The best part is that once you start living by this rule you actually bring less and less single purpose items into the home 💜

  5. When I was a kid ,I am old, we reused just about everything. Cool whip and margarine tubs were our Tupperware. Aluminum foil was used very sparingly and was rinsed off and reused . Shoe boxes were used to store paperwork , sewing gadgets, small toys, scraps for crafting or boxes for gifts. Jars were reused for storage for dry goods, screws, nails, seeds,or small leftovers. Clothes were home made and had a wide hem so that it could be let down to make it longer . Holes were patched ,rips were mended ,socks were darned and old shoes and clothes were play clothes. When clothes were past wearing the buttons and zippers were removed , good parts could be used for quilts and rags were made with the remaining material. We ate leftovers and what we didn’t eat were fed to the dogs or the pig. Dog food was only for when there were no scrapes . Bread bags were used for sandwiches, dirty cloth diapers when away from home and to put over your socks if your boots had a hole in them. Twine from hay was twisted to make rope for animal halters and lead rope. Any paper or cardboard that wasn’t reused was used to start fires in the wood stove.

  6. Great video! I love recycling or repurposing anything I can. I especially like the shoe caddy in the bathroom. I might give that a try.

  7. You have some great ideas and I love your presentation. Not over acting but entertaining and interesting.

  8. Loved the turn cereal boxes to wall file organise thing..i need s video on it bcz i legit was thinking to buy those lol

  9. I reuse ice trays to freeze a variety of foods : squeezed lemon juice with lemon slices to add to drinks or recipes. You could use berries, too, The same with a bag of hatch chilies. Cubes of chilies for recipes as needed.

  10. I use a filing cabinet to put my clothes in. The drawers are deeper and I can fit so much in. I got it free. It’s grey and matches my bed frame. Aldo I frame cards that people have sent over the years so I have some nice prints to hang.. so many ways to save money

  11. Do you know what I like to do with drinking out of the mason jars is to put in some turmeric some lemon or sliced lemons or lemon and essential oil and then of course you gotta add the black pepper for absorbency for some reason I like drinking that better out of glass . ❤

  12. like your ideas. i would put more enphasis on REPURPOSE, meaning "Repurpose What You Have" and dont go out and buy NEW things just to do your tips.
i got two for you which i love,
keep old bread tags and glue a piece of card or coloured paper to make gift tags or tags on jars or clip to lable your cables to organise them.
ive also used an old large coffee can as my plunger holder in my bathroom and kitchen. stops toilet water going all over your floor and also keeps you from acidently using your toilet plunger in the kitchen. OMG you dont want that.

  13. Repurposing is the biggest danger to people struggling with clutter. Because it makes it even harder to throw things out. Repurposing should never be a goal. You need to develop the guts to throw things out and buy new when needed, which happens less often than you think. Keeping things ‘because you might need them one day’ is killing. So people, if you struggle with clutter, ditch the repurposing as much as you can.

  14. Have to get the food storage containers in organization. They are just something that you have to keep rearranging all the time my husband tried this. We put the lid on every single one, but then it took up so much space and I prefer to have the lid stacked on the side of the cabinets, but I think maybe we’ll do a little bit of both for our food storage containers

  15. Love your ideas. I also keep and reuse resealable bags that food comes in. I wash or rinse them out and store leftovers, etc. Or, I use them to throw away stinky garbage. Seal the fish garbage in a resealable bag and throw it away!
